July 12th, 2015 :: Man as the Cornerstone of Priesthood

Last Sunday, July the 12th, marked the Connexional Methodist Men Fellowship Sunday. That is to mean that all Methodist Churches in the region celebrated men as the cornerstone upon which priesthood has been built. At Juja Methodist Church, we had an awesome Sunday, away from the ordinary and blessed of the Lord.

Led by one among our Christ-led menfolk, Mr. Mwongera (in the picture above), the service brought to us a call to worship, a moment of praise to God, a confession of our sins to God, Intercessory prayers, and a powerful sermon by Mr. Wilfred Kathurima (in the picture below).

The men fellowship, edutained us (educated us through entertainment), by presenting a wonderful self-composed verse and a set-piece. We bless God for what the men fellowship is doing in MCK Juja Church.

May 24, 2015 :: Deliverance Sunday

Sunday the 24th May 2015 marked a great day for the members of Juja Methodist Church Community. The day started early with a morning service that saw our very own Dr. Esther Mwiti sharing the word in the morning service, and thereafter, in the Main Service, Lucy shared God’s word in a powerful, deliverance service.

The Morning Service at Juja MCK starts every Sunday at 8.00 am and ends at 9.30 am. A bible study session follows immediately after, from 9.30 am to 10.25 am, paving way for the main service which runs from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. After the service, there follows an interactive session as members enjoy a cup of tea together in an informal meet-and-greet period. While the others leave at their leisure, most a times the youth are left within the church grounds to hold a forum.

Rev. Mutethia prayed that the speaker of the day would be led by the Holy Spirit.and the speaker came in with God’s word at its peak.
